    Facts About Thomas Edison
    1.Edison was born in Milan, Ohio, on February 11, 1847

    2.Edison was the youngest of Samuel and Nancy Elliot Edison’s 7 children.

    3.Edison’s first invention was probably a telegraph repeater (1864), which enabled telegraph signals to travel greater distances.

    4.Edison made the first practical electric light bulb in 1879.

    5.From 1870 to 1875, Edison invented transmitters, receivers, automatic printers and tape.
